This graduate level course is designed to provide educators with an in-depth exploration of American history from the Civil War through Reconstruction up to an including the settling of the last frontier (1861-1900), and how they can use this knowledge not only when teaching social studies, but to implement cross-curricular lessons in all subject areas consistent with the Pennsylvania Academic Standards.
